About the role
We are looking for an experienced Salesforce Commerce Cloud Developer for a 6-month contract who will play a key role in the development and enhancement of our e-commerce platform. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and customizing solutions on the Salesforce Commerce Cloud platform to meet the specific needs of our business.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, product owners, and other developers, to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable solutions on the Salesforce Commerce Cloud platform.
- Develop, customize, and implement Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) solutions, ensuring the highest level of quality, performance, and reliability.
- Design and implement features related to e-commerce functionality, including but not limited to product catalog, pricing, promotions, and checkout processes.
- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements using server-side logic.
- Perform code reviews to ensure best practices are followed and code quality is maintained.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the Salesforce Commerce Cloud platform and integrations with other systems.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) Developer, with a track record of successful e-commerce implementations.
- Solid understanding of SFRA
- Strong proficiency in server-side JavaScript and relevant SFCC technologies.
- Experience with SFCC Business Manager.
- Familiarity with Salesforce Commerce Cloud APIs, including OCAPI.
- Knowledge of web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Salesforce Commerce Cloud Developer certification is highly desirable.
