About the role
New You is an undeniable leader within the Medical Aesthetics industry, with a chain of 8 Cosmetic Centres in Ontario. Our sister company also distributes cutting-edge medical devices. We are an expanding on GTA have a unique opportunity available for an individual who has a general accounting background and operations experience working with multiple retail locations, preferably in health and wellness industry. Desired Skills and Experience:
Your Challenge in this new role will be to:
- Perform all aspects of general accounting functions including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, P&L, balance sheet
- Excellent knowlege of Quickbooks
- Conduct bank reconciliations per location
- Prepare monthly government remittances including HST, and payroll
- Maintain comprehensive and up to date filing systems related to all accounting functions.
Operational duties include inventory management, cash management, and in-store communications.
In Operations role :
- Effectively manage in-store inventory and cash control by ensuring adherence to all operations policies and procedures.
- Assure all projects and processes including inventory control, supplies are accurate and are delivered in a timely manner.
As our Ideal Candidate you offer:
- Preferably directly related education in accounting- 3 or 4th level CPA
- 5 plus years in Canadian accounting experience, with emphasis on accounts payable/receivable and payroll
- Good oral English communication and interpersonal skills and diplomacy to deal with staff and vendors in a courteousy matter
- Good knowledge of internal accounting systems, Excel, Quick books
- Well organized to establish weekly priorities, maintain accurate filing systems
- Driven by achieving results - self starter with track record of achieving goals beyond what is required and being proactive
- Must be mobile to attend locations across GTA.
Compensation will be based on Canadian experience.
