Summary Of Position This posting is for a Permanent Part-Time Library Assistant/Technician Position at Spiritwood High School, commencing August 25, 2025. Hours of work are 3.5 hours per day, Monday to Friday . The Library Technician/Assistant provides expert technical and research skills to advance the needs of staff and students. As a Library Technician/Assistant, you will be the hub of the library and will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the library including demonstrating the values of Living Sky School Division and your school community.
Qualifications
- Graduate of Library Technician Diploma or a grade 12 education with 2-5 years relevant experience
- Intermediate to advanced level technical/computer skills (ie. Microsoft Suite)
- Functional proficiency/experience with computerized office environment (ie. Internet)
- Valid drivers license and clean drivers abstract with access to a reliable vehicle

Living Sky School Division encompasses a wide geographic area including the Battlefords, many communities, villages, First Nation communities, and Hutterite colonies. We are located in the heart of wheat and oil country.
Currently, 28 schools are located in 19 communities. Our schools include PreK-12, elementary, high schools, and alternate schools with a population of approximately 5,300 students.
