Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and enthusiastic Host/Host to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for their dining experience. Your primary responsibility will be to greet guests warmly, manage reservations, and ensure a smooth flow of service within the restaurant. A passion for hospitality and excellent customer service skills are essential for success in this position.
Duties
- Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and welcoming demeanor.
- Manage the seating chart and ensure that tables are filled efficiently to optimize service.
- Take reservations over the phone and in-person, maintaining an organized reservation system.
- Communicate effectively with servers and kitchen staff to coordinate guest seating and special requests.
- Assist guests with inquiries regarding menu items, specials, and restaurant policies.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host station.
- Provide excellent guest services by addressing any concerns or needs promptly.
- Help train new staff members on proper hosting procedures and customer service standards.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a hospitality or food service role is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication skills with an emphasis on phone etiquette.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Knowledge of OpenTable systems is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively during busy periods.
- A passion for helping others and creating memorable dining experiences.

Pay: $17.20 per hour
