Neuropsychology and Cognitive Health provides neuropsychological assessment, cognitive intervention, and behaviour support services at Baycrest, and provides neuropsychology consultation services to external organizations. The mission of our program is to provide excellence and leadership in clinical neuropsychological services. The program has an opportunity for a clinical neuropsychologist to provide consultation services to Ontario Shores Centre for Mental Health Sciences and intervention services at Baycrest.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Provide screening and intervention services in the Learning the Ropes program

  • Provide neuropsychological consultation services to inpatient teams in the Ontario Shores Geriatric Program

  • Attend and contribute to team meetings and educational series at Baycrest and Ontario Shores

  • Contribute to program’s research and innovation projects

  • Other duties as directed

Qualifications include but are not limited to:

  • Ph.D. in Psychology

  • Canadian Psychological Association (CPA) or American Psychological Association (APA) accredited internship preferred

  • Registration or eligibility for registration as a Clinical Neuropsychologist with the College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario

  • Experience with neuropsychological evaluation and intervention of individuals with neurodegenerative disorders

  • Experience working with an older adult population

  • Experience working with inter-professional teams

  • Demonstrated ability to take professional accountability for leading, organizing, providing and delegating care activities for clients and families

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills

  • Basic computer skills – Meditech, Microsoft Word and Excel
