We’re seeking a creative, community-driven Social Media Manager to take the lead in shaping and growing Happy Goat's presence across all social platforms, primarily Meta. This is a key role focused on building brand awareness through compelling visual storytelling, and cultivating authentic connections with our diverse audience. This position will start as part-time (up to 25 hours/week) with the opportunity to become full-time after 3 months, depending on performance.

What You’ll Do
- Lead the strategy and execution of social media content across channels to drive reach, build brand awareness, and increase engagement.
- Conceptualize, shoot, and edit photos and short-form videos using professional equipment or mobile. Content should be a well-rounded mix that includes café culture, behind-the-scenes roasting, product features, brew tips and recipes, and educational posts that inform and inspire our audience.
- Edit content using Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop) and mobile editing apps.
- Own the social media calendar and ensure timely, on-brand content aligned with product launches, café events, and community moments.
- Respond to customer messages and comments across social channels in a timely, friendly manner while maintaining our brand voice.
- Stay ahead of social media trends and platform algorithm changes to maximize organic reach and engagement.
- Contribute to campaigns at the top of the marketing funnel.
- Track and analyze KPIs including reach, engagement, follower growth, and top-of-funnel marketing metrics.
What We’re Looking For
- An understanding of coffee, from origins and processing methods to brewing techniques and flavour profiles, with the ability to translate that knowledge into engaging, educational content that connects with both newcomers and seasoned enthusiasts.
- 2+ years of proven experience managing and growing social media channels for brands going through rapid growth.
- Strong video creation and editing skills with a portfolio showcasing engaging reels and short-form content.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (especially Premiere Pro and Photoshop) and mobile content creation tools.
- Deep understanding of social media algorithms, trends, and engagement strategies across Meta and TikTok platforms.
- Photography skills and an eye for creating visually compelling content.
- Knowledge of marketing funnels with specific experience in awareness-stage content and strategies.
- Self-motivated and deadline-driven with excellent time management skills.
