We are hiring experienced Construction Foremen to oversee multi-trade teams on residential building projects in Nunavut. This is not a rotation position—you will be living and working in a Northern community where your leadership skills will make a visible, lasting difference.
This role is ideal for those who enjoy hands-on involvement and know how to guide a crew through a job safely, efficiently, and to spec.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day operations at active residential construction sites.
- Coordinate multiple trades and manage scheduling, safety, and quality.
- Interpret blueprints, adjust plans as needed, and communicate clearly with all parties involved.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and building code regulations.
- Maintain accurate progress documentation and support workforce planning.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in residential construction leadership roles.
- Skilled in managing carpenters, plumbers, electricians, and general labourers.
- Strong communication and conflict-resolution skills.
- Knowledge of northern construction methods is an asset.
- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
