Customer Success Manager – Must have Payroll experience

As they continue to expand across North America, they are looking for a skilled Customer Success Manager / Payroll Solution Architect to play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless payroll operations for their clients.
About the Role
This is a high-impact role where you will architect and optimize the entire payroll journey for customers. You’ll work closely with clients to design efficient payroll workflows, ensure compliance, and provide training and support. This position requires a strong understanding of payroll systems, data management, and system integration, as well as the ability to collaborate with internal teams to improve processes.
Key Responsibilities
• Customer Onboarding: Lead the payroll onboarding process for new clients across North America.
• Solution Architecting: Design and implement efficient payroll workflows, from data gathering to system readiness and payroll execution.
• Customer Collaboration: Work directly with clients to understand their payroll needs and develop tailored solutions.
• Data Management: Oversee payroll data collection and preparation, ensuring accuracy and integrity.
• System Integration: Partner with technical teams to configure payroll systems for optimal performance.
• Compliance Oversight: Stay informed on federal, state, and local payroll regulations to ensure payroll compliance.
• Training & Support: Provide training and ongoing support to clients and internal teams on payroll processes and system usage.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred).
• 3+ years of experience in payroll processing and payroll solution architecting.
• Strong understanding of payroll systems, data management, and compliance requirements.
• Ability to analyze complex payroll scenarios and implement efficient, scalable solutions.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills, with a focus on collaboration.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment, demonstrating flexibility and initiative.
