Role Overview
We are seeking a highly meticulous and detail-oriented UI Quality Assurance Engineer to join our dynamic development team. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for design, a passion for user experience, and a strong background in testing web applications built with Angular, HTML, and CSS. You will play a critical role in ensuring the quality, functionality, and visual fidelity of our user interfaces across various platforms and browsers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, execute, and maintain comprehensive test plans and test cases for UI components and features, ensuring meticulous attention to detail in design and functionality.
- Conduct thorough functional, regression, cross-browser, and responsive design testing of web applications.
- Identify, document, and track defects with clear, concise, and reproducible steps, collaborating closely with developers to ensure timely resolution.
- Verify the correct implementation of HTML, CSS, and Angular components, ensuring adherence to design specifications and coding standards.
- Actively participate in design and development reviews to provide input on testability and potential UI issues.
- Contribute to the improvement of QA processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Work closely with product managers, designers, and developers to understand requirements and deliver high-quality user interfaces.
- Utilize developer tools to inspect and debug UI elements, styles, and Angular component behavior.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience as a UI QA Engineer or similar role, with a strong emphasis on meticulous testing.
- Expert-level understanding of HTML5 and CSS3, including responsive design principles.
- Solid experience testing applications built with Angular (or similar JavaScript frameworks like React/Vue.js).
- Experience with automated UI testing frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright).
- Demonstrable ability to identify subtle visual discrepancies and functional inconsistencies in user interfaces.
- Experience with various testing methodologies (e.g., black-box, white-box, exploratory testing).
- Familiarity with bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Azure DevOps) and test management tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a commitment to delivering high-quality products.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate complex issues clearly.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment.
