Overview:
Join our team at Holiday Inn Toronto International Airport as a Guest Services Representative! Bring your exceptional guest service skills and hotel front desk experience to create memorable stays for our guests.
What you will be doing?
- Welcome each guest with a warm and professional greeting
- Check guests in and out efficiently, issue room keys
- Provide details on hotel amenities, services, and local attractions
- Answer phone calls promptly and assist with questions or requests
- Handle guest reservations, cancellations, and modifications
- Process payments accurately (cash, credit cards, etc.)
- Handle guest complaints or concerns with a positive attitude
- Promote room upgrades and hotel services to boost guest experience and revenue
- Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments for guest needs
- Support additional guest services such as concierge, safe deposit box handling, and package assistance.
What are the requirements this role?
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- At least 1 year of front desk or customer service experience preferred
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Fluent in English (additional languages a plus)
- Comfortable using computers and hotel reservation systems
- Able to stand for long periods and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs
- Available to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Friendly, professional, and a team player
