About the Role
The Financial and Research Coordinator provides financial and administrative support to the Department of Mathematics by overseeing and coordinating financial operations, including the management of operating, capital, endowment, Tri-Council, research, and special purpose funds. The role ensures the integrity of financial processes through accurate reconciliation, reporting, and compliance with institutional policies. The Coordinator acts as the primary point of contact for financial, grant, and budgetary matters, supporting faculty and researchers in developing, monitoring, and resolving issues related to grant administration and payroll coordination. By facilitating effective budget execution, maintaining data accuracy, and preparing detailed financial reports, the role contributes to the department’s overall financial accountability, strategic resource management, and operational efficiency.
