Job Overview Responsible for developing and designing a variety of marketing materials, with a primary focus on packaging and labels for Give & Go’s extensive portfolio of sweet baked goods and decorating kits.
Key Responsibilities
- Production Artwork: Execute the production of high-quality artwork, ensuring adherence to brand standards and creating print-ready files for printers. This responsibility ensures products consistently meet high quality standards.
- Packaging Design: Design and develop innovative packaging and labels for sweet baked goods and decorating kits. This role plays a crucial part in enhancing product presentation and customer appeal.
- Creative Design: Apply creative talents to produce visually stunning pieces and effectively implement brand lockups. This work contributes to the overall aesthetic and brand identity of the products.
- Sell Sheets and Catalogues: Design and produce compelling sell sheets and catalogues to support marketing and sales efforts. These designs help communicate the value and appeal of the products to customers and stakeholders.
- Digital Assets: Create engaging digital assets for e-commerce platforms, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and enhancing the online presence.
- Product Retouching: Perform meticulous product retouching, including close cropping and embellishment, to ensure products are presented in the best possible light.
Recipe For Success
- Completion of a college diploma in Graphic Design, Communications, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a graphic design position.
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
- Proven experience working with Marketing and suppliers on design development and production.
- Strong project management, organizational, and communication skills.
- Basic skills in product photography.
- Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
- Understanding of printing capabilities and digital design formats.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Excellent time and client relationship management skills.
- Strong interpersonal and presentation skills with clear communication (verbal and written).
- A self-starter with the ability to identify projects and solutions.
