YOUR NEXT CHALLENGE:
Reporting to the Site Services and Infrastructure Manager, you will be part of the Site Services & Infrastructure Department. You will ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s values, Health & Safety Code of Conduct and the environment.
- Minimize the risks associated with the site infrastructure and water management
- Optimize cost of managing site infrastructure and water management assets
- Help manage the collection of operational data and the development of related reports
- Assist with the preparation of short, medium and long term plans
- Collaborate with Mine Operations and Process Plant Operations to execute effective operations and maintenance strategy
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

College Diploma, and/or relevant experience in similar field
-
5-7 years of experience in a supervisor role
-
Ability to work shift work with rotations of day and night shifts
-
Civil construction experience would be considered an asset
-
Supervisor common core
-
Knowledge of the Ontario Mining Act and Regulations
-
Excellent working knowledge of all Microsoft Office Suite applications especially Outlook, Excel, Word & PowerPoint
Your Work Schedule:
- Schedule: 7/7 or 14/14 schedule at our Detour Lake Mine.
- Accommodation and meals are provided on site at no cost to the employee. Agnico Eagle provides transportation to and from the mine site and will accommodate to cover other travelling expenses according to your location of residence in Canada.
