Summary
Scrawlr is seeking a dynamic and visionary Business Development Manager - Social Media to spearhead all commercial operations across the company’s ecosystem. This is a pivotal leadership role driving the commercial success of Scrawlr and its suite of tenant businesses, including Jauntr, Lodgr, SSN, and Unifyr. The role requires an innovative thinker with a proven track record of translating strategic vision into robust, executable commercial plans. As Business Development Manager - Social Media, you’ll be integral to scaling this vision—unlocking value for creators and partners, and shaping a new era of digital engagement.
The Business Development Manager - Social Media will collaborate closely with the executive team, product leads, and operational units to ensure effective user acquisition, monetization strategies, and meaningful partnerships that scale Scrawlr’s impact.
Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

Lead the development and refinement of Scrawlr’s commercial vision and strategy, aligning with platform and user needs

Identify and execute market expansion strategies, partnerships, and customer acquisition initiatives

Product Launch & Growth Management

Design and implement beta and full launch plans for Scrawlr and its tenant businesses

Lead user acquisition campaigns that focus on traction, pivot quickly from ineffective tactics, and scale successfully

Oversee content strategy and generation across Scrawlr's ecosystem

Translate user insights into actionable improvements for product teams

Build, scale, and manage high-performance teams across:

Commercial Operations

Content Generation

Customer Service

Develop and manage frameworks for contractor and staff hiring, aligned with Scrawlr’s growth needs

Customer Success

Define and manage the customer service framework, ensuring scalable, responsive support aligned with growth

Corporate Functions Oversight

Oversee collaboration with legal, finance, and HR teams to ensure operational excellence during launches and growth phases
-
Collaborate with executive leadership on investor relations and fundraising
Required Experience and Skills
- 5+ years’ experience in commercial leadership,Business Development Manager - Social Media (preferably in SaaS, digital platforms, or consumer tech)
- Proven ability in:
- Strategic market development
- Leading cross-functional teams
- Scaling digital products/services
- Strong financial acumen and fundraising exposure
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills
- Passion for Scrawlr’s mission to democratize content creation and monetization
Desirable Experience and Skills
- Background in travel, accommodation, or digital content industries
- Familiarity with B2B/B2C platforms
- Experience in multi-tenant environments
