Profile : Our client is a leading manufacturer and distributor of high-quality packaging solutions, specializing in plastic packaging products for a diverse range of industries such as food, agriculture, pet food, pharma etc . We are looking for a Greater Montreal Area sales rep to build new business while simultaneously growing existing customers and who comes from the industry of flexible packaging.
Territory : Greater Montreal area
Workplace : Home Office (local to Montreal)
Products/Services : Packaging solutions
Salary : Base $100,000-$130,000
Commissions/Bonus : $25,000 year 1
Car allowance : $750/month
Expense’s reimbursement : All reasonable expenses reimbursed

Functions :
- Proactively identify and target potential customers
- Understand customer needs and requirements, and recommend appropriate packaging solutions
- Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and trainings to educate clients
- Provide accurate and timely sales forecasts, reports, and updates to sales management
- Foster and grow existing business
- Use company CRM to input data
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to network and generate leads
- Meet or exceed sales targets
Requirements :
Development vs Maintenance: 70% vs 30%
Road vs Office: 50% vs 50%
Languages: Excellent written and spoken English & French
Education: College degree of equivalent experience
Training: On the job but needs to come from the industry
Overnight Travel: from time to time (as needed)
Years of experience: At least 3 years successful sales experience in the flexible packaging industry.
Other requirements: Experience using a CRM
Transferable contacts : Contacts within the industry
Transferable Knowledge :
- Ability to speak to decision makers
- Ability to network
- Strong social selling skills
- Strong strategic selling
