To meet the demand of our continued growth and success, we have the following employment opportunity at our Dafoe, SK facility.
Hiring- Grain Elevator Maintenance
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Complete all preventative maintenance tasks and repairs of plant equipment, including grain handling and heavy equipment such as forklifts and wheel loaders
- Track, document, and report on all repairs and maintenance activities
- Communicate with external vendors and contractors to obtain quotes and contracts for best value for the purchase of parts and services.
- Identify and communicate opportunities for process improvement
- Ad hoc duties - assist with plant operations as needed
QUALIFICATIONS:

1 to 2 years related work experience preferred

Industrial mechanic/millwright certification is considered an asset

Heavy duty mechanic certification is considered an asset

Farm or agriculture industry experience considered an asset

Effective written and verbal communication skills
-
The ability to work individually and as part of a team

Must be able to work outdoors in adverse weather conditions throughout the year

Capable of lifting 25kg

Steel toed boots are mandatory

Reliable transportation is a must as public transportation isn’t available

Regular shifts are Monday to Friday with the opportunity to work overtime

Shift work may be required
