Aspire is located in Red Deer, Alberta and is nicely situated between Calgary and Edmonton. We are open from 8:30-4:30 M-F and close our centre between Christmas and New Years.

Join our dynamic team as a Program Assistant and become an integral part of Aspire's Park It program, dedicated to fostering inclusive and enriching experiences for children with diverse needs and their families in Red Deer and surrounding communities. In this role, you will contribute to the success of our free summer playgroup.

· Possess a valid drivers license and reliable transportation (a mileage reimbursement will be provided for driving expenses)

Responsibilities

  • Assist in planning and implementing summer programs for children, ensuring a safe and engaging environment.
  • Supervise and lead activities, fostering teamwork and participation among participants.
  • Collect and analyze feedback and data to improve program offerings.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and staff, providing updates and addressing concerns.

Job Types: Part-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 8 weeks

Pay: $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 12 per week
