Are you a driven and ambitious sales professional with a background in building materials or construction supplies? We’re looking for a passionate Sales Representative to join our fast-growing team in Scarborough. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to drive growth across key customer segments.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities with dealers, hardware stores, contractors, and major retailers.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships to encourage loyalty and repeat business.
- Provide regular sales performance updates and market insights to the management team.
- Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and client meetings as needed.
- Proactively manage assigned accounts and territories to achieve revenue goals.
- Consistently meet or exceed monthly sales targets and performance KPIs.
- Work closely with the Sales Director to align strategies with company objectives.
- Prepare monthly sales forecasts and pipeline reports based on market trends and client feedback.
- Perform additional sales-related duties as required.
Qualifications
- 2–3 years of B2B sales experience, ideally within the construction or building materials industry.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to close sales.
- Demonstrated success in lead generation, negotiation, and client account management.
- Comfortable with both face-to-face and virtual sales approaches.
- Post-secondary education in business, marketing, or a related field is an asset.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with ERP systems is preferred.
- Highly self-motivated, organized, and a team player.
- Valid Canadian driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Final candidates must provide a recent Driver’s Abstract.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $60,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
