About the role

Canada Internship opportunities will provide candidates with a unique opportunity to get hands-on management experience - experience that future employers are looking for!

We are currently hiring for a 8-month general manager who will be responsible for the majority of day to day activities inside of the business.

The position is broken into two 4 month commitments.

Part time from February to the end of April, and full time from May until the end of August.

During the 8-month work term, you will be responsible for the following:

Developing and implementing a marketing strategy

Selling to customers

Recruiting and training employees inside the business

Project management

General administration

This is not your typical clock-in-clock-out internship where your biggest responsibility is data entry. This role puts you in the driver seat of your own company for the summer and gives you the opportunity to gain skills that very few people develop until much later in their career.

What would make you a great fit?

You are currently studying towards a college diploma or university degree

You are able to work part time from February -> April and full time from May -> August

You currently have a G2 or G level license with full time access to a vehicle May --> August

You have strong communication skills that will enable you to thrive in selling customers and managing employees
