About the role

Southview Acura, an import car dealership, is seeking an outgoing, personable, very reliable person for a casual receptionist position. Schedule is 1 Friday 2pm to 6pm and Saturday 8:30am to 6:00pm a month with flexibility to cover additional evening and weekend shifts when needed.

Day-to-day tasks include: answering high volume phone calls and directing them to the correct department and person; vehicle inventory management; filing; appointment management; customer relations; and ensuring the coffee station is clean and stocked.

Our ideal candidate will have computer entry experience (MS Office, Google Sheets & Docs), have excellent organizational and communication skills. CDK experience would be an asset, but we are willing to train the right candidate. A resume is required. Please email via this posting. Summary

The Receptionist is the first point of contact for customers at the dealership. This key position is responsible for answering phones, greeting customers, and other administrative functions as assigned. The Receptionist will be passionate about creating a professional relationship with the customer with the objective to create Brand and dealership loyalty.

The Receptionist is excellent at multi-tasking and is able to answer phones promptly and then return to prior task once the call is complete. Their strongest capabilities include being organized and reliable while continuously working to create a welcoming environment for customers. The Receptionist must be a team player to ensure the proper employees are notified when a customer enters the dealership.

Administrative procedures are always followed appropriately by the Receptionist. Professional attire and grooming is required at all times.

As a dealership can be a high-pressure environment, the Receptionist is able to work under pressure and keep a calm and positive body language to reassure customers.

  • Listen document customer needs and expectations.
  • Ensure any administrative paperwork is completed in an accurate and timely fashion.
  • Review and analyze actions regularly to determine how to better utilize time and plan more effectively.

  • Stay up-to-date on the dealership training programs.
  • Be knowledgeable about new features, specials and updates.
  • Be a champion for delivering excellent service at all times.
  • Actively maintain the cleanliness of personal and team workspaces.
  • Maintain a professional appearance.

Education & Experience

  • High School Diploma (or Equivalent) or working towards High School Diploma.
  • Experience in customer service would be an asset.
  • Experience in Reception in a dealership environment would be an asset.
