Digital Design Researcher, Commercial Banking Portal: On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a Digital Design Researcher, Commercial Banking Portal for a 12-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite at our client’s Toronto, Ontario office.
Digital Design Researcher, Commercial Banking Portal - Job Description: This role involves collaborating with a team to design, build, and launch an industry-leading banking portal for commercial banking clients. The project focuses on enhancing core banking aspects, including account details and payment management, to ensure a seamless user experience.
Digital Design Researcher, Commercial Banking Portal - Responsibilities:
- Conduct design research across core banking features like account details and payment methods
- Collaborate with designers to ensure a seamless user experience across portal features
- Apply design research expertise to establish business banking archetypes and user testing scenarios
- Facilitate complex design critiques and provide research recommendations
- Participate in ideation and collaborative activities
Digital Design Researcher, Commercial Banking Portal - Mandatory Skills:
- BA/BS degree in relevant fields or equivalent practical experience
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in Research Design
- Technical understanding of design research theory and tools
- Working knowledge of design research methodologies
- Experience with Figma
- Broader product design experience
- Experience using journey maps and storyboards

- Experience in accessible design
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
- Excellent problem-solving abilities
- Effective communication skills
