Help us inspire, inform, and empower young girls—one impactful story at a time.

About Us:

EmpowHERto is a non-profit organization based in Toronto and Fort Lauderdale. We’re

dedicated to helping underrepresented girls aged 14–21 build confidence and leadership skills

through dynamic programs in health & wellness, financial literacy, leadership, and STEAM

(Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math).

The Opportunity:

We’re looking for a passionate and strategic Content Writer & LinkedIn Strategist to lead our

presence on LinkedIn—and support our broader storytelling efforts. Your main focus will be

developing content that strengthens our professional voice and builds community on LinkedIn,

but you'll also support additional writing projects as needed, from blog posts and newsletters to

program highlights and impact stories.

What You'll Do:

● Write compelling, mission-driven content for LinkedIn that reflects our brand and values

● Develop and manage a content calendar aligned with organizational goals and

campaigns

● Create posts that spotlight our programs, team, events, partners, and community impact

● Repurpose content (like blog posts or internal updates) for different formats and

audiences

● Collaborate with internal teams to align messaging and identify new content

opportunities

● Support additional writing needs across the organization as they arise (e.g., blog articles,

program materials, email newsletters, etc.)

● Track and analyze content performance on LinkedIn to inform strategy

● Attend monthly content team meetings to brainstorm and strategize with the team

What We're Looking For:

● Strong writing and editing skills with a professional, engaging tone

● Experience creating content for LinkedIn or similar platforms

● Strategic mindset with an eye for storytelling and audience engagement

● Ability to adapt your voice across different content types and platforms

● Organized, self-motivated, and collaborative

● Bonus: Familiarity with tools like Canva, Monday.com, or LinkedIn Analytics

Time Commitment:

● 10 hours/week

● Remote, volunteer role with flexible hours
