About the role

Role: Security Advisory Sales Leader

Location: Hybrid – Toronto-based

Type: Full-time | Permanent

A leading boutique security consulting firm is hiring a Security Advisory Sales Leader to help scale its client-facing practice across North America. You'll work closely with enterprise clients, provide strategic security guidance, and drive business development across key verticals. Ideal for a consultative seller or advisory lead with deep security expertise and strong client-facing presence.

🛠 What You’ll Do

  • Act as a trusted advisor to enterprise clients on cybersecurity strategy, supplier risk, and tooling
  • Lead pre-sales engagements, scoping sessions, and strategic advisory workshops
  • Build tailored solution roadmaps aligned to client needs and regulatory frameworks
  • Collaborate with Engineering and Delivery teams to ensure seamless project execution
  • Represent the firm at conferences, presentations, and ROI discussions
  • Partner with Practice Leads to align opportunities with internal capabilities and growth targets

✅ What We’re Looking For

  • 5–10+ years in cybersecurity consulting, advisory, or pre-sales roles
  • Strong experience working with enterprise or telecom clients (MSSP, MSP, consulting, etc.)
  • Knowledge of security frameworks and tools (e.g., Fortinet, CyberArk, ISO/NIST, SOC2)
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience at a consulting or advisory firm (e.g., CDW, Slalom, Deloitte) is a strong asset
  • Entrepreneurial mindset — comfortable owning a book of business and shaping the practice
