Access to Information Professional
About the role
Altis Recruitment is grateful to partner with an organization within the Broader Public Sector to support the recruitment of an Access to Information professional for a 6 month contract term with the opportunity for an additional 6 month renewal based on business needs and performance within the role. This role will be based out of their Ottawa office working in a hybrid capacity and supporting a high-volume, fast-paced ATI operation. This includes handling complex requests and contributing to two major initiatives: Managing a large-scale access to information project that requires planning, coordination and steady progress. It will also be supporting a transition from AccessPro Case Management to a new system, AMANDA that will include testing and rollout support.
Key Responsibilities
- Process complex ATI requests in accordance with federal legislation
- Assist in planning and coordinating a long-term response to a large-scale ATI initiative
- Support the implementation and testing of a new ATI case management system (AMANDA)
- Prepare documentation for internal/external stakeholders and respond to internal and external stakeholders
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- 3+ years’ experience with the federal Access to Information Act
- Experience using AccessPro Case Management or similar ATI systems
- Strong analytical, organizational, and written communication skills in English
- Experience with large, multi-faceted ATI files and/or system transitions is an asset
- Ability to work with a team during standard office hours of 9am - 5pm
- Bilingualism (French) is an asset
- Candidates must be eligible or qualify for a reliability clearance
