Billing and Receivable Specialist (6 Month Contract)
About the role
PAYROLL RELATED
• Process timecards and workorders by checking ELD, pay clock and workorders. Allocate resources (labour, vehicle, packing material)
•Record crew’s leave, late no show in Moveware.
STORAGE RELATED
• Create Storage accounts for storage customers.
• Create monthly storage invoices.
• Send monthly storage Invoices to customers with payment information.
• Maintain the out of storage schedule and make sure all storage accounts are updated in Moveware prior to the new billing cycle.
• Maintain Bambora recurring billing and accounts, update as required for moveout customers.
ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE RELATED
• Collect and process all customer payments, follow up on outstanding balances.
• Record all receipts from Bank Statement (Credit Side) daily, which includes EFT’s, Wires, E-transfers, Sirva CAD & USD, etc.
• Follow up with customers for outstanding dues.
• Follow the Preauthorization for COD moves process.
BILLING RELATED
• Produce invoices for all customers and all companies.
• Assist operation with paperwork and update Sirva portals as necessary.
• Collect deposits and final payments for the moves.
• Create Debtor/Customer accounts.
MONTH END RELATED
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliation for Receivable clearing accounts for all companies monthly.
• Prepare and review month-end uninvoiced sales report, calculate revenue accruals.
• Other duties as assigned by Finance Manager.
REQUIREMENTS
• Graduation in Accounting and Finance.
• 2-3 years of experience as a billing clerk, bookkeeper or accountant.
• Experience with ERP systems such as Quickbooks, SAP, Oracle, Dynamics preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and analysis skills.
• Demonstrated commitment to accuracy, attention to detail and continuous learning.
• Proven prioritization and time management skills, able to stay organized and be flexible and react on a timely basis to changing priorities.
• Ability to work independently, taking initiative, setting priorities, and seeing projects through to completion.
Contract length: 6 months
Pay: From $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Location: Scarborough, ON M1R 2T5
Work Location: In person
