The CF34/CFM56 business unit is seeking a Program Manager who will be responsible for establishing, monitoring and achieving strategic, operational and financial objectives of a specific customer program(s) within the business unit. The program manager fosters positive customer relationships while coordinating with the rest of the Business Unit to drive service excellence, and continually evolve our processes and tools to create more value for both the customer and StandardAero
Required Skills/Experience

- Experience in aviation, aerospace required; specific experience in MRO or aviation maintenance (aircraft, engines, components, etc.) environment in a customer facing role preferred
- Commercial proficiency (e.g., contract law, accounting, regulatory, compliance and security, etc.)
- Demonstrated ability to interpret technical data and translate them into business models or in creating quotes, pricing, or scenario analysis
Educational/Academic Requirements
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in business, engineering; or equivalent combination of experience and education.
- 3+ years of Aerospace or Aviation experience - Aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul, fleet management or maintenance programs in airlines or leasing business. 3+ years experience working in a combination of technical, commercial or customer facing role in aerospace or aviation.
Specific Accountabilities
Customer Relationship & Commercial Management
- Customer Relationship Management: Acts as the primary steward of the customer’s relationship, including all communications, reviews, and voice of the customer channels and execution of such, as well as using this information to cultivate customer loyalty and improve StandardAero’s overall service offering
- Contract Execution: Works closely with the commercial solutions team to manage amendments or coordinate renewal of customer agreements and programs
Program & Risk Management
- Strategic Ownership: Developing, maintaining, and executing customer success and program strategy to ensure the success of the overall program, which may include (but not limited to): material and sourcing strategy, financial performance optimization, customer solutions development, etc.
- Customer Data Management: Collecting, maintaining, interpreting and analyzing customer data and converting them into requirements, forecasts, or recommendations for the customer or the operations (e.g., Customer fleet, spares, removal rhythms, pools, etc.)
- Program Analysis: Provide consultative support to the customer, working with operations and engineering in finding opportunity for improving customer’s overall maintenance program, (e.g., identifying risks, optimizing workscopes, etc.)
Financial and Business Accountability
- Transactional Effectiveness: Working closely with finance in ensuring the program’s accuracy from accounting perspective, as well as ensuring that cost drivers and risks are identified, quantified and actioned
- Driving Revenue and Profitability: Monitoring Program KPIs to track performance versus planned, identifying any potential opportunities for improved margins or revenue growth
- Stakeholder Management: Monitoring and maintaining program KPIs and reporting and communicating to both internal leadership teams and the customer in a regular cadence
Account and MRO Event Management
- Coordinating supporting services required for the engine MRO event if needed (e.g., logistics, rentals, field service work, component repairs, consignment inventory, etc.)
- Coordinating commercial activities to ensure satisfactory execution of the MRO event (e.g., contract flow down, translating customer requirements, work scope definition, etc.)
- Coordinating and validating fulfillment of technical requirements regarding the MRO event (e.g., customer/commercial and airworthiness reports, technical documentation, etc.)
- Prepares and present customer estimates and invoices, managing customer expectations with respect to costs and resolving any issues as they arise
- Maintains data in the internal applications/ systems (e.g., ERP (SA Menu), Customer Relationship Management (CRM) or SalesForce.com (SFDC) database, etc.)
Technical Knowledge
- Understanding of the CFM56-7 Engine and customer-specific maintenance requirements an asset.
- Strong understanding of the aerospace industry as a whole, engine MRO operations and engine technical knowledge is an asset
General
- Responsible for observing and reporting any issues or concerns in support of the company-wide quality, environmental and Safety Management System [SMS] policies.
- Measures relevant KPIs, and drives continuous improvement
- Carries out additional projects as assigned.
