Job Summary: Join the Service Delivery team within our Productivity Engineering organization! Our mission is to empower engineering squads to release high-quality software faster and more reliably, without sacrificing work-life balance. We achieve this by providing a robust and reliable platform that encompasses compliance, AWS cloud infrastructure management, database administration, cost optimization, and performance testing. As a hands-on DevOps Engineer, you'll be a key contributor to this mission.

As a member of the Service Delivery Team, you will be instrumental in ensuring the reliability, security, and scalability of our platform. You'll be responsible for maintaining our EKS clusters, managing critical AWS services, automating CI/CD pipelines, and building infrastructure as code. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to make a significant impact, collaborate with talented engineers, and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and improve the reliability and performance of our Kubernetes (EKS) clusters, including upgrades, patching, and security hardening.
  • Manage and optimize AWS services, including ElasticCache, ElasticSearch, and S3, to meet the evolving needs of our engineering teams.
  • Design, develop, and maintain GitHub Actions workflows to automate CI/CD processes for internal tools and applications.
  • Design, implement, and manage AWS infrastructure using Terraform and CloudFormation, focusing on scalability, security, and cost- effectiveness.
  • Implement and maintain comprehensive monitoring and alerting solutions to proactively identify and resolve production issues.
  • Participate in on-call rotations to provide timely support for critical systems.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering teams to understand their infrastructure requirements and deliver effective solutions.
  • Contribute to the development and enforcement of infrastructure management and automation best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of cloud computing principles and best practices.
  • Proven experience with containerization technologies (Docker) and orchestration platforms (Kubernetes/EKS).
  • Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions.
  • Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code, configuration management tools such as Terraform, Ansible
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Go.
  • Hands-on experience with Datadog for infrastructure and application monitoring, log management, and alerting.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Minimum Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in a DevOps, SRE, or Systems Engineering role with hands-on experience on AWS cloud platform
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, AWS Certified Solutions Architect
