The Senior Reimbursement Specialist is a key individual contributor and subject matter expert (SME) in reimbursement. This role standardizes reimbursement best practices, provides consultative direction on managing complex cases, and supports reimbursement-related projects and initiatives. The position supports program teams and Reimbursement Specialists through expert guidance, coaching, and training while developing and maintaining the Reimbursement Center of Excellence to ensure operational best practices across the NavieGo division.

Your Mission:
- Develop, implement, and maintain consistent reimbursement methodologies across the NavieGo division.
- Create and continuously update reimbursement resources and procedural guides to ensure alignment with industry standards and internal best practices.
- Serve as the reimbursement SME by providing consultative direction on managing complex reimbursement cases, monitoring trends, and sharing timely insights from on-the-ground experience.
- Design and lead refresher training workshops and coaching sessions to ensure continuous development in reimbursement practices, including assisting in the creation and delivery of training materials.
- Contribute to developing and maintaining the Reimbursement Centre of Excellence by standardizing processes and sharing expert insights with the team, troubleshooting issues, and refining workflows.
- Support commercialization initiatives by ensuring teams are equipped with up-to-date reimbursement resources and clear, actionable guidance.
- Streamline reimbursement workflows and reporting practices to maintain operational excellence and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Act as overflow support to the Advanced Resources Team (ART) by providing hands-on case management support for NavieGo Patient Support Programs as required.
What You Bring to the Table:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a reimbursement role within patient support programs in the healthcare, pharmaceutical, or insurance industry.
- Deep understanding of public, private, and federal reimbursement processes across multiple therapeutic areas.
- Proven ability to manage complex reimbursement cases and provide consultative, hands-on support to team members.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to convey technical information clearly and effectively.
- Proven experience in developing and delivering impactful, engaging training programs that are clear and digestible, with the ability to adapt to learners’ unique needs.
- Proficiency in Microsoft tools and applications.
- Exceptional organizational skills and demonstrated ability to work independently.
- Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated on best practices in reimbursement.
- Bilingualism (English/French) is an asset.
- Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset.
- Availability to work rotating shifts (Monday through Friday, covering 8 AM to 8 PM) as needed.
Compensation: At BioScript, your base pay is one part of your total compensation package and is determined within a range. Our pay ranges are based on the local cost of labor benchmarks for each specific role, level, and geographic location.
