About the role
Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Osteopathic Manual Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in patient care and a passion for improving the well-being of individuals. This role involves working closely with patients to assess their needs, develop treatment plans, and provide ongoing support. The Osteopathic Manual Therapist will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our patients through effective therapeutic interventions.
We are looking for someone to fill either one morning shift (7:00am - 1:30pm) and one evening shift (1:30pm - 8:00pm) or two evening shifts, +/- Saturday shift (8:00am - 2:00pm). We are hoping to hire the ideal candidate before July 3rd as that is when our current Osteopath is moving.
Duties
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments.
- Provide direct patient care, including manual therapy and pain management strategies.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient progress and treatment outcomes using medical terminology.
- Strive to continuously improve therapeutic practices and outcomes.
- Educate patients and their families about treatment options, coping strategies, and resources available.
- Utilize Jane Software (electronic health record system) for documentation and communication purposes.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in therapy.
Requirements
- A minimum of a 4 year Osteopathic Manual Therapy program is required.
- More than 2 years experience working as an Osteopathic Manual Therapist in a clinical setting.
- Familiarity with populations of various age ranges and abilities.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology and documentation practices.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
- Motivation to market and build your own caseload within our clinic.
- Compassionate approach towards patient care with a focus on improving quality of life.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks effectively while maintaining attention to detail.

Pay: $24.83-$130.00 per hour
