Marid is a growing fabrication shop located in Windsor Junction, NS. We are professional, creative, fast-paced, and committed to delivering high-quality products on time to customers across North America.
We're currently hiring an experienced Stairs and Rail Fitter. If you have a background in layout and fitting of stairs, railings, and miscellaneous metals-and are looking to join a dynamic and supportive team-this is an excellent opportunity.

What you'll do
Responsibilities
Lay out and fit stairs, railings, and miscellaneous metals according to fabrication drawings
Use measuring tools, squares, levels, clamps, and jigs to ensure accurate layout
Interpret and follow blueprints, shop drawings, and fabrication details
Prepare components for welding by ensuring proper alignment and fit
Operate shop equipment including grinders, drills, and overhead cranes
Work safely with slings and lifting devices
Wear PPE and follow all shop safety protocols
What you'll need
Qualifications
Demonstrated experience fitting stairs, railings, or similar miscellaneous metals
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and fabrication drawings
Excellent mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Dependable, punctual, and results-driven
Physically fit and comfortable in a fabrication shop environment
