Position Summary

The Director of Sales is a relationship-driven leader who thrives in a client-facing role. This position is ideal for someone who genuinely enjoys connecting with people, building lasting business relationships, and guiding a team to success. Approximately 75% of the role is focused on personal sales and revenue generation, while 25% is dedicated to supporting and developing a high-performing sales team.

This is a hands-on leadership role that requires someone who leads by example—actively selling, mentoring team members, and contributing to overall sales strategy.

Key Responsibilities

Personal Sales Leadership (75%)

Actively prospect, build, and manage your own sales pipeline.

Lead outbound sales efforts including cold calling, emailing, and booking appointments.

Represent Priority Management during discovery meetings, proposal presentations, and negotiations.

Build and maintain strong relationships across both public and private sector organizations, with an emphasis on federal government and corporate clients.

Maintain accurate CRM records and support forecasting through consistent reporting and pipeline updates.

Team Leadership and Coaching (25%)

Recruit, onboard, and coach sales representatives, with a focus on outbound prospecting and appointment generation.

Manage a remote sales team using clear processes, consistent communication, and performance-based coaching.

Facilitate weekly pipeline reviews and team meetings to ensure alignment and accountability.

Ensure consistent use of CRM tools (Zoho), email templates, sales sequences, and other prospecting tools.

Collaborate with marketing and operations to refine messaging, tools, and training programs for sales effectiveness.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of B2B sales leadership experience, preferably in a service-based industry.

Proven success selling to senior leaders in complex, multi-stakeholder environments (e.g., government or enterprise).

Experience leading and motivating remote sales teams.

Familiarity with CRM platforms (Zoho preferred), sales automation tools, and Excel for sales reporting.

Exceptional relationship-building, communication, and presentation skills.

Strong organizational skills and a proactive, results-driven mindset.

Base salary + commission structure; expected earnings of $100,000+ annually.
