We are seeking a Capital Program Analyst to join our Asset Management Strategy & Planning Department. Under the general
direction of the Portfolio Accountant, act as a specialist to support the prioritization, monitoring and reporting of the AP&D Portfolio of
Programs. Contribute to the development of processes to ensure programs are managed and executed considering risk, asset
sustainability, and asset management principles aligned with corporate business objectives across all energy streams.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Portfolio Accountant, Portfolio Planner and program execution teams to determine program

recommended spend within business operations capital targets.

  • Develop portfolio and program level reports to monitor and report on the performance of the programs identifying areas of

opportunities or follow up.

  • Facilitate the creation of new programs based on needs identified by stakeholders including approvals, work with finance, etc.
  • Collaborate with the Lifecycle Value Optimization section to build and value program and program item investments and

determine the appropriate program.

  • Communicate formally and informally program priorities, and changes in priority, to program execution teams across Manitoba

Hydro.

  • Monitor and analyze program resource requirements to incorporate into overall portfolio resource balancing.
  • Contribute to the development of metrics and key performance indicators for monitoring the portfolio of programs.
  • Maintain and assess the quality of Copperleaf Master data and investment tracking systems.
  • Liaise with finance groups to ensure alignment with SAP master data and correct irregularities as required.
  • As a subject matter expert provide specialized technical support to Program Managers and Program Item execution teams in

the application of Copperleaf software.

Qualifications:

  • Professional designation (CPA or CFA) combined with two years of progressively responsible work experience, demonstrating

the skills and abilities required for the position,
Or

  • A four-year degree in Commerce or Business Administration from a University of recognized standing combined with five

years progressively responsible work experience, demonstrating the skills and abilities required for the position.

  • Strong interpersonal, relationship building, and communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of investment planning and project delivery for Manitoba Hydro's Energy Assets.
  • Strong working knowledge of Copperleaf C55 software.
  • Working knowledge of risk and risk management concepts, including the Corporate Value Framework.
  • Working knowledge of asset management principles, practices and strategy.

Salary Range

Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. The range for the classification is $43.44-$59.95 Hourly,
$83,247.84-$114,870.60 Annually.
