We are looking for a Restaurant Supervisor to assist with overseeing the daily operational tasks of the restaurant, including team member management, sanitation and safety.

JOB DUTIES

• Coordinate team member selection, training, scheduling and development of direct reports and ensure all team members comply with appropriate policies and procedures.

• Assist with monitoring storage, preparation, cooking, handling and serving of all food and beverage products to ensure correct recipe, portion, and specification standards; control and minimize waste.

• Ensure proper food safety and cleanliness standards are observed at all times (including food temperatures, refrigerator temperatures, food storage and display).

• Represent the restaurant, as well as the resort, to the restaurant customers in a positive manner.

• Supervise the condition, repair and appearance of all equipment; report any malfunctions to the Restaurant Manager.

• Assist with coordinating daily and weekly menu specials based on food availability.

• Perform shift opening and closing duties as assigned such as starting equipment and cleaning the grill and surrounding area, as well as other kitchen equipment.

• Assist with handling customer complaints and problems in a professional manner.

• Work as scheduled and as necessary in any position in the restaurant, and perform other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum of one year restaurant supervisory experience
• Demonstrated knowledge of restaurant administration, food preparation and food safety
• Basic math skills
• Excellent customer service, organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds
• Demonstrated leadership abilities
• Basic computer proficiency, including the ability to use email and internet
