About the role

Position: Customer Service/Order Entry Specialist

Location: Hamilton

Pay: $47,840

Shift: Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm

Fully in office

Duties:

Order Processing:

  • Take customer orders over the phone, email, or online.
  • Accurately input order details into the company's database, including customer information, product selection, quantity, and shipping address.
  • Verify product availability and pricing.
  • Process payments and handle payment processing issues.

Customer Service:

  • Answer customer inquiries regarding order status, product information, pricing, and delivery options.
  • Address customer concerns and resolve issues promptly.
  • Provide product recommendations and assist with selecting appropriate items

Handle returns and exchanges

  • Order Tracking and Follow-up:
  • Monitor order status throughout the fulfillment process.
  • Communicate order updates to customers, including any delays or changes.
  • Follow up with customers regarding outstanding orders or missing information.

Data Management:

  • Maintain accurate customer records and order details within the system.
  • Identify and report any discrepancies or errors in order data.

Sales support:

  • Engage in sales activities like suggesting additional products.

Inventory management:

  • Will need to check stock levels and coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure timely order fulfillment.

Required skills:

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
  • Proficiency with computer systems and order management software
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Customer service oriented with a positive attitude
  • Problem-solving abilities to address customer concerns
