Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in providing exceptional dining experiences for our residents. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction by delivering high-quality service, taking orders, and managing guest needs in a senior based environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality and the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere.

Duties

• Greet and seat residents promptly with a friendly demeanor.
• Present menus and provide detailed information about food and beverage offerings.
• Take accurate food and drink orders
• Upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience and increase sales.
• Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables.
• Monitor resident satisfaction throughout their dining experience and address any concerns promptly.
• Sanitize tables, utensils, and service areas to maintain cleanliness and health standards.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow during busy periods.
• Assist with training new staff members on service standards and procedures.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of food handling practices to ensure safety and quality.
• Excellent upselling techniques to enhance guest experience.
• Familiarity with sanitation standards in the food industry.
• Exceptional hospitality skills with a focus on guest services.
• Previous experience in the Independent Senior Living industry is preferred but not mandatory.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining a positive attitude under pressure.
