About the role
Job description
The HR Advisor plays a key role in providing daily support to employees and managers. She is actively involved in the entire employee lifecycle, from hiring to offboarding, while ensuring the efficient management of HR processes. She also ensures compliance with internal policies, health and safety regulations, and promotes smooth internal communication.
Job type : Full time, Permanent.

Tasks
Recruitment and Onboarding
- Manage job postings, candidate pre-screening, and interview coordination.
- Participate in welcoming and onboarding new employees.
- Ensure employee records are updated in the HR system.
Administrative Management and Payroll
- Coordinate timesheet collection and prepare data for payroll processing.
- Manage vacation and leave banks.
- Ensure payroll records are accurate in collaboration with the accounting department.
Offboarding and Disciplinary Files
- Support managers in offboarding processes.
- Document disciplinary actions and ensure administrative follow-up on incidents.
Health, Safety, and Compliance
- Participer à la mise à jour des politiques SST.
- Contribute to updating occupational health and safety (OHS) policies.
- Track and document workplace incidents.
- Coordinate mandatory OHS inspections and training sessions.
Training and Development
- Participate in the development and planning of internal training programs.
- Monitor individual development plans and maintain training records.
Internal Communications
- Assist in drafting and distributing internal communications (newsletters, HR announcements, bulletins).
- Promote a positive and engaging work environment.
Required qualifications
- Degree in Human Resources Management or a related field.
- 2 to 3 years of experience in a similar role, ideally in a manufacturing environment.
Skills
- Good knowledge of labor laws and occupational health and safety (OHS) standards
- Excellent command of spoken and written French
- Discretion, attention to detail, autonomy, and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Familiarity with payroll software (e.g., Nethris, Employeur D, ADP) and HRIS is an asset
