Job Overview:

Connect VIP is seeking a skilled Salesforce Consultant with experience in Nonprofit Success Pack (NPSP) or Nonprofit Cloud (NPC) to support a high-impact not-for-profit client. This remote role is based in Canada and involves leading discovery, configuration, and implementation efforts tailored to the nonprofit sector. The ideal candidate will bring deep knowledge of Salesforce NPSP/NPC, nonprofit business processes, and stakeholder engagement, with a passion for using technology to drive meaningful change.

This is a consulting role ideal for a candidate who thrives in fast-paced environments, understands the complexities of nonprofit operations, and can deliver smart, scalable Salesforce solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Salesforce Implementation & Configuration:

Lead NPSP/NPC configuration, customization, and data modeling to align with client objectives and nonprofit best practices.

Client Discovery & Stakeholder Engagement:

Conduct workshops and interviews to understand the client’s needs, translate business requirements into Salesforce functionality, and present solution recommendations.

Project Delivery & Support:

Oversee implementation milestones, ensure accurate data migration, manage testing cycles, and provide go-live support and post-deployment guidance.

Documentation & Training:

Create detailed solution documentation and deliver user training sessions tailored for nonprofit staff and leadership.

Integration & Automation:

Support the integration of third-party nonprofit tools and implement automations (e.g., flows, process builders) to improve efficiency and data integrity.

Qualifications:

Experience:

3+ years of Salesforce consulting or admin experience with a focus on NPSP or Nonprofit Cloud; experience working with Canadian nonprofits is a strong asset.

Certifications:

Salesforce Administrator Certification required. NPSP or Nonprofit Cloud Consultant Certification strongly preferred

Technical Skills:

Proficient in Salesforce Lightning, reports & dashboards, flows, and nonprofit use cases such as donation management, grants, campaigns, and constituent engagement.

Soft Skills:

Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to manage relationships with non-technical stakeholders and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Remote Work:

Experience working independently in a remote setting with excellent time management and accountability.
