Position Overview:
As a Red Seal Journeyman Electrician, you will play a vital role in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings. You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, including building management systems (BMS), HVAC controls, and energy management systems, within a supportive and growth-focused environment.
Position Requirements
- Certification: Red Seal Journeyman Electrician Certificate
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years as a Journeyman Electrician, with at least 5 years in construction (preferred)
- Skills: Expertise in electrical installation, maintenance, and repair; experience with BMS and building controls is an asset
- Qualifications: Strong safety knowledge, project management skills, and proficiency in troubleshooting electrical systems
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Driver’s License: Valid BC Driver’s License and clean Driver’s Abstract (employee responsible for associated fees)
- Flexibility: Willingness to work out of town when required
