Electrical Engineering Manager
About the role
We are seeking an Electrical Engineering Manager to join our client’s maunufacturing team in the Toronto, ON region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of engineers, fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment.
- Provide technical guidance on systems, designs, and code reviews (Servos, VFDs, PLCs).
- Develop long-term product roadmaps and prioritize team workloads.
- Approve engineering designs, quotations, and supplier orders.
- Collaborate with project management, customer teams, and internal stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
- Maintain and report on key project metrics, and support SRED submissions.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in Automation/Industrial Machinery design and project management.
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- PMP certification or equivalent project management experience is a plus.
- Expertise in AutoCAD Electrical and control systems (Servos, VFDs, PLCs).
- Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills.
