Store Manager
Responsibilities
- Set and execute sales performance goals to increase profitability
- Hire, train, and assess store employee's productivity and performance
- Maintain orderly, presentable appearance of the store
- Oversee stock and store operations
Requirements
- Overall responsibility for hitting sales targets and store operations.
- Responsible for all staff hiring training, coaching, retaining, recognizing rewarding, evaluating performance
- Implement staff contests (vendor and company sponsored)
- Set up Product Knowledge sessions and track attendance
- Reward outstanding performance
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
Qualifications
- Post secondary degree / diploma or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years' store management experience
- Customer centric with a positive attitude
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Have mid level computer skills and use of cloud based programs.
- Valid Driver's License and car
- Strong interpersonal communication skills, leadership and decision making skills
- Strong computer skills (gmail, calendars, excel, word)
- Entrepreneurial spirit
Customer Experience
- Overall responsibility for ensuring that customers receive excellent service.
- Handle customer emails forwarded to store manager.
- Oversee handling of returns / repairs / returns to vendor as appropriate
- Provide quantitative and qualitative staff and customer product feedback for buyers.
Working conditions
- Full time / 40 hour week
- Hours include some evenings and weekends.
