As an Automation Quality Assurance Analyst, you will be at the forefront of ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. You will use your expertise in automation frameworks and scripting languages to design and develop comprehensive automated test suites that verify the functionality, performance, and security of our applications. With your deep understanding of software testing methodologies, you will help streamline the software development process and reduce time-to-market, without sacrificing quality. Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

Develop test strategies, test plans/cases/suites, test automation scripts (component, API, and UI layers), and system configurations to efficiently validate compliance to product design requirements and guidelines.

Develop and present test reports based on quality metrics and practices.

Actively contribute to the design and improvements of our current test automation framework and validation practices.

Identify and develop test strategies to maximize testing efficiency and scalability.

Develop, maintain, and execute automated testing scripts to evaluate functional, integration, load, and performance requirements of our products.

Utilize and integrate best in class hardware and software solutions, in combination with in-house applications and tools, to perform manual and/or automated testing activities.

Integrates current automation systems into a common test automation framework

Establishes requirements, evaluates, and recommends test automation tools

Estimates and plans for development of test automation framework

Assists with defining processes and standards for implementing test automation
-
Creates automated tests for functional/GUI validation of company products and related components

Provides detailed documentation and training on automation tools/applications developed

Special projects as assigned
Qualifications and Competencies
-
Post-secondary education in a computer related field
-
Extensive experience with validation and/or development of enterprise-class software applications
-
Direct hands-on experience with automated testing tools
-
Good knowledge and experience in manual and automatic software testing methodology, test development, and test execution
-
Deep understanding of QA standards and software project lifecycle
-
Experience with Agile methodologies
-
Experience with creating and troubleshooting complex queries
-
Experience with Object Oriented Programming
-
Experience with Microfocus UFT One, or with keyword-based automation is an asset
-
Experience with Linux O/S is an asset
-
Good understanding of product life cycle, including software development methodologies, design and implementation
-
Must have solid foundation with test automation concepts and methods
-
Proficient in SQL
