About the role

Our Edmonton Ecommerce Office is looking for the right individual to fill the key role of Part Time Online Service Specialist.

The Online Service Specialist fosters positive client relationships through proactive, quick, and clear communication with online clients. They identify client needs and present honest opportunities for upselling and cross-selling. They are invested in learning about gravitypope’s vast product selection to make tailored recommendations to clients. They provide support to the Online Fulfillment team as needed to ensure service expectations are met.

The ideal candidate has experience in online sales and customer service with a desire to work in the fashion industry. They are organized, energetic, positive, and eager to learn about gravitypope’s expansive product selection while gaining experience in omnichannel retail.

Compensation is based on relevant experience, job-related skills, location, and performance. Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and assess client needs to achieve satisfaction
  • Ensure client phone, chat and email messages are responded to quickly and effectively
  • Help maintain email inbox organization to ensure all queries are responded to in a timely manner
  • Ensure clients are sent regular updates on order status, help mitigate complaints on order delays and errors through proactive communication
  • Liaison with retail locations to ensure a seamless omnichannel experience for the client
  • Notify fulfillment team of order changes, cancellations and exchange requests
  • Contribute to a positive work environment
  • Support order fulfillment team as required

The ideal candidate possesses the following qualifications:

  • 1 years + of experience in customer service
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong ability to negotiate and find agreeable solutions
  • Experience with Microsoft Teams and Smartsheets is an asset
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize while ensuring a high quality of work is completed on time
  • Excellent numerate and analytical skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Experience with Shopify and chat applications is an asset
  • Experience with Shipstation or courier services is an asset
