About the Role
We're seeking a dynamic and organized professional to join our growing catering team. The Catering Sales & Operations Coordinator is responsible for securing as much business as possible. This multifaceted role combines sales development, customer relationship management, and operational coordination to drive our catering business forward.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Lead Generation
- Identify and develop new catering opportunities through prospecting and networking
- Generate qualified leads through various channels including cold outreach, referrals, and market research
- Build and maintain a pipeline of potential catering clients
Customer Relationship Management
- Manage all catering requests using our CRM system
- Answering Calls
- Respond promptly to inquiries and provide detailed proposals
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions and preferences
- Follow up on quotes and convert leads into confirmed bookings
Operations Coordination
- Serve as the primary liaison between clients and our catering crew
- Coordinate event details, timelines, and special requirements
- Ensure seamless communication between sales and operations teams
- Oversee event logistics from booking to completion
Financial Management
- Process payments and manage invoicing
- Track outstanding accounts receivable
- Maintain accurate financial records for catering services
- Coordinate with accounting on payment collections
Ideal Candidate
Experience & Skills
- 2+ years in sales, customer service, or hospitality industry
- Experience with CRM systems and sales processes
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace
