Overview:
Ashburn Golf Club is seeking dedicated and skilled Line Cooks to join our culinary team for the remainder of the 2025 Golf Season. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to delivering high-quality meals in a private golf club environment. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in meal preparation, ensuring that every dish meets our standards for taste and presentation. This is a seasonal line cook position with Ashburn Golf Club in Windsor Junction (near Fall River) and runs until October 31, 2025. Preference will be given to those with previous line cook experience who can commit for the remainder of the golf season. These positions are not suitable for no or low experience applicants. Compensation will be based on experience.
This position is flexible and there are current openings for part-time applicants. 20-30 hours per week with the potential for full-time for the right candidate. Hours will typically be early afternoon and evening shifts with no late nights. Personal transportation is required for this position as there is unfortunately no public transit available in the area at this time. Staff parking is provided.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards.
- Monitor food quality and maintain a safe, clean work environment.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area.
- Follow food safety guidelines to ensure safe food handling practices.
- Assist in meal preparation for special events and catering services.
- Collaborate with kitchen team to ensure timely service during peak hours.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant setting is required.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining quality standards.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
- Familiarity with various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
