Emterra Group is currently seeking General Labourers to support the Bin Delivery Program in Langley on a 3-week contract. This role is key in helping the community prepare for automated curbside collection by assisting in the loading and placement of new waste and recycling carts.
Job Description
- Work alongside a driver to load, unload, and deliver carts to residential properties.
- Push and position carts from the truck to the curbside of each home.
- Follow a scheduled route and maintain an efficient delivery pace.
- Report any delivery or site-related issues to the supervisor.
- Interact respectfully with the public when required.
- Ensure safety standards are followed at all times.
- Perform other related duties as required.
Skills & Qualifications
- Physically fit: able to lift, push, and pull carts and walk for extended periods.
- Able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
- Positive attitude and willingness to contribute to a team effort.
- Access to reliable transportation to reach the reporting location.
