CONCENTRATOR OPERATOR

The hourly rate ranges from 40,86$ to 46,42$
Deadline to apply August 8, 2025
The work location is at Nunavik and the normal work schedule is on a rotation of 6 weeks: 3 weeks worked (84 hours per week, 7 days a week) followed by 3 weeks for rest.

Future challenges
Reporting to the Operations Supervisor, the Concentrator Operator is responsible for the various ore monitoring and processing operations. The main responsibilities of the job are:
- Ensure the proper operation of the concentrator equipment in all sectors (crushing, flotation, reagents, control room, presses, thickeners);
- Perform routine checks and inspections on the concentrator equipment;
- Maintain the various equipment of the concentrator in a clean and safe condition;
- Apply health, safety and environmental rules and guidelines;
- Carry out any other tasks required in relation to the position.
Profile Sought
- Professional study diploma in Machine operations, mineral and metal processing combined with any relevant experience;
- Experience in operating an industrial process (mining/concentrator, metals, pulp and paper, chemical/petrochemical);
- Ability to identify and diagnose troubleshoot breakdowns and problems encountered with the various equipment.
- Valid driver's license;
- Bilingualism (French/English) is an asset due to frequent communication with francophone team members to improve and facilitate internal collaboration.
