Internship Overview:

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Digital Marketing Intern – Off-Page SEO & Backlink Building to support our SEO team. This unpaid co-op internship is perfect for students or recent grads looking to grow their skills in link building, guest posting, and directory outreach.

Key Responsibilities:

* Research and submit to free guest posting and blog submission websites relevant to plumbing and home services

* Create and manage free backlink profiles on industry directories and platforms

* Perform picture/image submissions to platforms like Imgur, Pinterest, and image-sharing sites for backlinks

* Conduct directory submissions to niche and local business directories

* Track, record, and report backlink progress using Google Sheets or Excel

* Assist in evaluating domain authority and link quality

* Stay up to date on white-hat link-building trends and tools

What You’ll Learn:

* Hands-on experience with real off-page SEO strategies

* Tools and techniques for backlink outreach and monitoring

* How to improve domain authority and SERP rankings

* How off-page SEO supports brand visibility in local service industries

* Soft skills like communication, time management, and remote collaboration

Qualifications:

* Enrolled in or recently completed a program in Digital Marketing, Communications, Business, or similar

* Basic knowledge of SEO and backlinking strategies

* Strong internet research and organizational skills

* Detail-oriented and able to meet weekly goals independently

* Good written communication for outreach (optional but a plus)
