Job Description:
Commandeur Mechanical is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable and Payable Clerk to join our growing team. This part-time position offers the opportunity to transition into a full-time role based on performance and business needs. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing accounts payable and receivable, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring timely payments and collections.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process accounts payable and receivable transactions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Reconcile invoices and payments, addressing discrepancies as they arise.
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing procedures.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and ledgers.
• Prepare reports on accounts payable and receivable for management review.
• Liaise with clients and vendors in a professional manner to resolve billing issues.
• Maintain confidentiality of financial information and sensitive company data at all times.

Key Qualifications:

• Previous experience in accounts payable and receivable or bookkeeping.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills- must be able to handle sensitive conversations
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to transition from part-time to full-time hours as needed.
