About the role
An externship experience at an Russell Equine Veterinary Service will give students the opportunity to gain great practical experience in an independent equine practice and understand the daily operations of an equine ambulatory practice.
Students will work alongside veterinarians and technicians to gain experience with preventative medicine, dentistry, lameness diagnosis and treatment, reproductive care, emergency care and minor surgery.

Externships at Russell Equine Veterinary Service are offered to 3rd and 4th year veterinary students.
Veterinary students who are in the clinical portion of their education MAY be eligible for a travel/living expense stipend, contact equinerecruiting@nva.com for more information.
