Coast Mountain College (CMTN), Terrace campus, invites applications for a part-time College Professor in the Northern Collaborative Baccalaureate Nursing Program (NCBNP). The appointment will commence August 18, 2025, and end April 30, 2026 (subject to minimum enrolment). Salary will be in accordance with the CUPE Instructor Scale (range: $5,775.84 to $9,255.50 per section).

Duties: College Professors are responsible for contributing to the academic success of students in the Northern Collaborative Baccalaureate Nursing program (NCBNP). This includes course preparation, teaching and guiding students, providing feedback, correction, encouragement, and direction in the following courses:

NURS 101: Communication Theory and Practice

NURS 102: Clinical- The art and science of Nursing

Qualifications

A master’s degree in nursing, a current practicing license with the Nursing regulator college (CRNBC), and current CPR certificate along with a minimum of 5 years clinical practice experience and teaching experience. Candidates with a bachelor’s degree will be considered with a combination of education and experience. Successful candidates will be adaptable, flexible and comfortable with change and have excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills.
